Dragged down by declines for shares of Intel and McDonald’s, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is seeing a selloff Thursday afternoon. Shares of Intel INTC, -3.30% and McDonald’s MCD, -3.10% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -1.15% was most recently trading 389 points lower (-1.3%). Intel’s shares are off $1.53, or 3.3%, while those of McDonald’s are down $6.89, or 3.2%, combining for a roughly 55-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are IBM IBM, -2.61%, Travelers TRV, -2.33%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.34%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
