Dragged down by losses for shares of UnitedHealth and Amgen Inc., the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Thursday morning. The Dow DJIA, +0.15% was most recently trading 97 points (0.3%) lower, as shares of UnitedHealth UNH, -2.18% and Amgen Inc. AMGN, -1.35% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. UnitedHealth’s shares are off $6.14 (1.8%) while those of Amgen Inc. are down $3.16, or 1.4%, combining for a roughly 61-point drag on the Dow. Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -0.15%, Nike NKE, +0.21%, and Walt Disney DIS, -1.51% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
