Goldman Sachs, Amgen Inc. share losses lead Dow's 100-point drop

Shares of Goldman Sachs and Amgen Inc. are trading lower Tuesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Goldman Sachs GS, -2.46% and Amgen Inc. AMGN, -2.40% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.32% was most recently trading 102 points, or 0.3%, lower. Goldman Sachs’s shares are down $6.39, or 2.5%, while those of Amgen Inc. have fallen $5.33, or 2.3%, combining for a roughly 77-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.45%, American Express AXP, -1.08%, and Caterpillar CAT, -1.28%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
