The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Wednesday morning with shares of Caterpillar and Walt Disney leading the way for the blue-chip average. Shares of Caterpillar CAT, +2.13% and Walt Disney DIS, +3.07% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.46% is trading 137 points, or 0.5%, higher. Caterpillar’s shares are up $5.01 (2.8%) while those of Walt Disney are up $3.78 (2.1%), combining for a roughly 58-point bump for the Dow. Dow Inc. DOW, +1.49%, Chevron CVX, +1.45%, and Visa V, +2.20% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
