Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Coca-Cola and Boeing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is in a selloff Monday morning. The Dow DJIA, -2.26% was most recently trading 540 points (1.8%) lower, as shares of Coca-Cola KO, -5.01% and Boeing BA, -5.33% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Coca-Cola’s shares are off $2.43 (4.4%) while those of Boeing have declined $8.31, or 3.9%, combining for a roughly 71-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Travelers TRV, -4.15%, Walt Disney DIS, -2.81%, and American Express AXP, -3.13%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
