Intel’s shares have climbed $1.69, or 3.3%, while those of Goldman Sachs have risen $7.69, or 2.6%, combining for an approximately 62-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Dow Inc. DOW, +2.93%, Home Depot HD, +2.09%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +2.32%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
