Boeing, Chevron share gains contribute to Dow's nearly 150-point jump

Powered by positive gains for shares of Boeing and Chevron, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Tuesday morning. Shares of Boeing and Chevron have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow was most recently trading 140 points higher (0.4%). Boeing’s shares have risen $6.78, or 2.7%, while those of Chevron have gained $2.66, or 2.6%, combining for a roughly 62-point bump for the Dow. American Express Goldman Sachs and Dow Inc. are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
