Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Caterpillar and Boeing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Wednesday afternoon. Shares of Caterpillar and Boeing are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow was most recently trading 88 points, or 0.3%, lower. Caterpillar’s shares have dropped $4.56 (1.9%) while those of Boeing are off $3.32, or 1.3%, combining for a roughly 52-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are JPMorgan Chase American Express and Nike A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
