Dow's 386-point fall led by losses in Dow Inc., Walt Disney shares

Shares of Dow Inc. and Walt Disney are posting losses Tuesday afternoon, leading the Dow Jones Industrial Average selloff. Shares of Dow Inc. DOW, -2.49% and Walt Disney DIS, -1.93% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.60% was most recently trading 386 points lower (-1.1%). Dow Inc.’s shares are off $1.79, or 2.8%, while those of Walt Disney have declined $4.72, or 2.7%, combining for a roughly 43-point drag on the Dow. Caterpillar CAT, -1.95%, Chevron CVX, -1.96%, and Amgen Inc. AMGN, -2.03% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.58-point swing.
