Mobile gaming continues to grow at solid levels worldwide. Today’s video focuses on Sea Limited (NYSE:SE) and Skillz (NYSE:SKLZ) and recent updates affecting some mobile games involving these two companies. Here are some highlights from the video:
- Sea Limited recently released Free Fire Max, an upgraded version of its hit game. This is essentially the same game but with better graphics, demanding stronger hardware. Since both games are essentially the same, a match can be filled with players using both versions, which is essential since it means no dilution in players.
- According to App Annie, Free Fire Max continues to be one of the most downloaded applications worldwide. It is even the No. 1 daily downloaded application in numerous countries. Not only is it on the most-downloaded list, but Free Fire Max and Free Fire tend to be among the top 10 highest-grossing applications daily in numerous countries as well.
- On Sept. 23, Skillz announced the launch of Big Buck Hunter: Marksman, a competitive mobile game created using the Skillz platform and based on the popular hunting franchise Big Buck Hunter. In the first few days of release, the game topped the charts in the sports category.
