Home Depot, Walgreens Boots share gains contribute to Dow's nearly 200-point climb

Buoyed by strong returns for shares of Home Depot and Walgreens Boots, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Monday morning. The Dow is trading 197 points, or 0.6%, higher, as shares of Home Depot and Walgreens Boots have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Home Depot’s shares have gained $6.27, or 1.9%, while those of Walgreens Boots are up $0.84 (1.8%), combining for a roughly 47-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Boeing Apple Inc. and Salesforce.com Inc. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
