Infosys has been recognized as a constituent of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for 2021. This recognition is testimony to Infosys’ corporate sustainability leadership in the Software and Services industry. Infosys secured a total ESG score of 78 (Out of 100) in the 2021 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (Score date: Nov 12, 2021).

Infosys’ ESG Score is based on its responses to the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) survey and on information available in the public domain. The CSA focuses on past and current performance on ESG issues.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) is operated by one of the world’s leading index providers S&P Dow Jones and SAM. The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index comprises global sustainability leaders as identified by S&P Global through the CSA. It represents the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global BMI based on long-term economic, environmental, and social criteria. It applies a transparent, rules-based constituent selection process based on the companies’ S&P Global ESG Score resulting from the annual S&P Global CSA. The CSA consists of a rigorous questionnaire assessing both public and non-public data submitted by participating companies. This year, more than 10,000 publicly traded companies were invited to participate in the S&P Global CSA.
