Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of , , , and , hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 287.6 points down at 17604.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as

, , , and , touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 13 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index,

, , Dr. Reddys, ITC and were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, SBI, and ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 874.16 points down at 59330.9.

Traders piled up positions in Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Hospitals & Allied Services and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, Tea / Coffee and Banks sectors during the day.
