are contributing to the index’s intraday decline. Chevron’s shares are off $4.35 (2.7%) while those of Caterpillar have declined $3.82, or 1.9%, combining for an approximately 54-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Dow Inc.
