Lowasa who is also in charge of health services assured that the county government under the leadership of Governor Abdi Hassan Guyo will continue to enhance service delivery and ensure timely supply of drugs to ICTRH and all health facilities at sub-county level.

“This second consignment of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products from KEMSA will cater to health needs of facilities for the next months,” he noted.

The hospital renal unit also received its supplies.

Supplies have also been directly dispatched to the various level 3 and dispensaries, making it a boost on service delivery.

In addition, Lowasa said Measures have been put in place to deter any theft of government drugs adding that legal action will be instituted against health officials and others found diverting the drugs.

Towards the end of last year, Isiolo county procured drugs from Kemsa that were distributed across health facilities.
