Apple Inc. stock outperforms competitors despite losses on the day

Shares of Apple Inc. AAPL slumped 0.47% to $141.86 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.03% to 33,743.84 and the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP falling 0.18% to 11,313.36. The stock’s fall snapped a four-day winning streak. Apple Inc. closed $37.75 below its 52-week high ($179.61), which the company reached on March 30th.
