Walmart Inc. stock falls Wednesday, underperforms market

Shares of Walmart Inc. WMT sank 0.48% to $142.34 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.03% to 33,743.84 and the S&P 500 Index SPX falling 0.02% to 4,016.22. The stock’s fall snapped a three-day winning streak. Walmart Inc. closed $18.43 short of its 52-week high ($160.77), which the company reached on April 21st.
