Ross Stores Inc. stock falls Tuesday, underperforms market

Shares of Ross Stores Inc. ROST slipped 0.68% to $118.19 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around positive trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX rising 1.46% to 4,076.60 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 1.09% to 34,086.04. This was the stock’s third consecutive day of losses. Ross Stores Inc. closed $4.26 short of its 52-week high ($122.45), which the company achieved on January 6th.
