Apple Inc. stock rises Tuesday, still underperforms market

Shares of Apple Inc. AAPL inched 0.90% higher to $144.29 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around great trading session for the stock market, with the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP rising 1.67% to 11,584.55 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 1.09% to 34,086.04. Apple Inc. closed $35.32 short of its 52-week high ($179.61), which the company reached on March 30th.
