WestRock Co. stock rises Tuesday, outperforms market

Shares of WestRock Co. WRK rose 4.92% to $39.24 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around great trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX rising 1.46% to 4,076.60 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 1.09% to 34,086.04. The stock’s rise snapped a two-day losing streak. WestRock Co. closed $15.54 below its 52-week high ($54.78), which the company achieved on May 5th.
