What’s next for Buccaneers’ Tom Brady in retirement? Will he call Super Bowl for FOX?

This time he means it.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement on Wednesday, one year to the day he retired for the first time.

But assuming he doesn’t go for the hat trick, what’s next for the seven-time Super Bowl champion?

In May, FOX Sports announced Brady will join the network as its No. 1 NFL game analyst following his retirement.

And Brady will get paid a ridiculous sum to become a broadcaster, reportedly landing a 10-year, $375 million contract.

Now, FOX is set to broadcast Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, Feb. 12. And right now, former Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen is expected to join Kevin Burkhardt in the all-N.J. broadcast booth. Olsen and Burkhardt have been FOX’s No. 1 NFL broadcast team all season.

But with Brady beginning his retirement, will FOX re-think its plan? Here’s what The Athletic’s Richard Dietsch reported earlier this month, before Brady’s retirement.

For those wondering about Tom Brady/Fox NFL: Multiple industry sources say Fox Sports has no plans to use Brady in the booth for the Super Bowl. You never know with the pregame given how long that show goes. But Burkhardt/Olsen is the plan. Fox Sports declined comment on it.
