A former WWE star has today announced that they will be retiring from in-ring competition in January 2026. Former WWE star Fandango was released from WWE back in 2021.
He and Tyler Breeze had returned to the “NXT” brand, where they captured the “NXT” Tag Team Championship, the only title both men would hold in their career.
Following his release, Fandango, under the name JDC, has been a member of the TNA Wrestling roster. He has been a member of The System stable alongside Moose, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards.
However, it seems we only have two more months of JDC in TNA. On tonight’s “TNA iMPACT” show, the former WWE star announced that he would be retiring from in-ring competition.
His retirement will follow TNA’s “Genesis” pay-per-view event, which takes place in January 2026 in Dallas. JDC announced his retirement in Full Sail University, which served as the home for “WWE NXT” for many years.

The System is set for an eight-man tag team match at “Turning Point” tomorrow night against the Rascalz. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, and Myron Reed) teased that a ‘fourth Rascal’ will be joining them, which is seemingly teasing the return of recently released WWE star Dezmond Xavier (Wes Lee).
The TNA “Turning Point” event, which aired on November 14, 2025, saw The System (JDC, Moose, Brian Myers, & Eddie Edwards) defeat The Rascalz (Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed) and their mystery partner, who was revealed to be Dezmond Xavier.
This marked Xavier’s first match back in TNA since his WWE release, which became official on November 11th. JDC will now move on from this victory as he prepares for his final match at “TNA Genesis” in Dallas, Texas, in January 2026.
