Despite missing the whisper number, Apple beat estimates on its other important metrics

As we come into the end of this week, Apple was one of the companies reporting on its earnings results for the most recent fiscal quarter. Apple’s Q4 2025 was almost entirely wins against expectations, save for an underperforming earnings-per-share (EPS) against the Earnings Whisper.

Apple posted its Q4 2025 earnings results on its investor relations website today. In its results, the company reported a bottom line revenue of $102.47 billion. That was more than enough to beat the Wall Street analyst expectation of $101.27 billion. Meanwhile, its EPS came in at a finish of $1.85 per share. That beat analyst expectations that were set at $1.73 per share. However, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Whisper Number estimate of $1.86 per share.

Apple (AAPL) stock was up in after-hours trading following the release of its Q4 2025.

The Apple company launched several new generations of its products this year, including the iPhone 17, which included the new thin, but powerful iPhone Air model. The Apple Watch 11 also offered a new generation of wearables with improved health features. Apple has also gotten into bed with the Trump administration, donating to its White House ballroom vanity project and removing ICE-tracking apps from its Apple Store ecosystem.

Ultimately, it was another solid quarter for Apple, and it doesn’t look like the company is slowing down as it approaches Q1 2025. Stay tuned to the Apple topic for more news and updates.
