HDFC Mutual Fund has partnered with Jagriti Yatra through its investor education and awareness initiative for the 18th edition of the journey. The Yatra, which unites 500 participants selected from over 68,000 applicants, began its 8,000-kilometre national journey from Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir in Bandra West, Mumbai.
Chief guest Navneet Munot, MD and CEO of HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd, linked India’s entrepreneurial energy with the nation’s vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. He emphasized HDFC Mutual Fund’s goal to spread financial awareness, “helping every individual take confident steps toward financial independence.” He continued, “We are proud to partner in this inspiring journey that nurtures the entrepreneurs and leaders who will shape the India of tomorrow.”
Shashank Mani, founder of Jagriti Yatra and member of Parliament, Deoria Lok Sabha, shared his vision on the purpose behind the movement. Mani said, “As we begin the 18th edition, the message is clear – India’s future will be built by those who see nation-building as their own responsibility, shaping an Atmanirbhar Bharat through innovation and collective will.”
Ashutosh Kumar, CEO of Jagriti, noted, “The journey is a living classroom – showing how enterprise can become a force for both personal growth and national transformation.” This year’s event focused on the core theme of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
Since its establishment, Jagriti Yatra has grown into one of the globe’s largest moving entrepreneurial journeys, impacting more than 8,000 participants and fostering a strong network of young leaders committed to developing Middle India via innovation and enterprise. The Jagriti Express, which functions as a mobile ecosystem for ideas, will travel from Mumbai to various locations, including Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hubli, and others, pausing at significant sites that demonstrate sustainable and inclusive development.
