Natalya has been with WWE for over 15 years, but she has no plans on hanging up her boots any time soon.

The second generation Superstar has developed into a seasoned locker room veteran. She’s a former SmackDown women’s champion and held the Women’s tag titles and held the Women’s tag titles (with Tamina) back in 2021.

During a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, Natalya was asked if she has any plans to retire, and what her ideal ‘final chapter’ would look like.

She said every wrestler dreams of being able to end their career on their own terms. So many Superstars sacrifice their bodies for their craft and are sadly forced into an early retirement because their bodies simply can’t hold up to the rigors of the road.

Natalya says she has no intentions of retiring any time soon, but she has a “perfect fairy tale ending” in mind, when she decides it’s time.

If I could pick a place where I would have a last match per se, I don’t think there would be a place more perfect than Calgary. And when and if that day comes — maybe I could put it out there to the wrestling gods — that that’s the place that I would like to celebrate the ending of my career.”

Calgary would be an appropriate setting for her final match, since the Hart family has such deep ties to the city. For now, she still feels like she has a lot to offer the industry and her fans.

WWE returns to Calgary’s famed Scotiabank Saddledome for Friday Night Smackdown on Friday, August 11.
