Apple Inc. stock falls Wednesday, underperforms market

Shares of Apple Inc. AAPL slid 1.42% to $145.31 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.02% to 32,661.84 and the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP falling 0.66% to 11,379.48. This was the stock’s second consecutive day of losses. Apple Inc. closed $34.30 short of its 52-week high ($179.61), which the company reached on March 30th.
