Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.12% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:16AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.7 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.6 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.5 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.48 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 1.31 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.64 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.12 per cent at 412.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 183.35 points at 17777.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 605.18 points at 60414.15.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 46 were trading in the green, while 4 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Tata Steel, PNB and Adani Ports SEZ were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Imagicaaworld Entert, Jindal Stainles, Mahanagar Gas, Finolex Cables and Surya Roshni hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Future Consumer, Bartronics, Shreeoswal Seeds, Vivimed Labs and Atlanta Ltd hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
