Celanese Corp. stock falls Wednesday, underperforms market

Shares of Celanese Corp. CE sank 0.70% to $121.47 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.03% to 33,743.84 and the S&P 500 Index SPX falling 0.02% to 4,016.22. This was the stock’s second consecutive day of losses. Celanese Corp. closed $44.01 short of its 52-week high ($165.48), which the company achieved on January 27th.
